Supplies:

Yarn: Sport/ Fingering weight cotton
• One 50 gram skein Red
• Two 50 gram skeins Brown
• Three 50 gram skeins Cream
• Needles: US 6/ 4mm

Sample knit in Stork by Dalegarn. Colors: Red (012) Brown (033) and Cream (002)

Scarf knit with two strands at the same time throughout

Pattern:

Cast on 48 stitches with two strands of Cream.
Work 3 rows of K1, P1 seed stitch

Begin chart
K1, P1, K1 seed stitch on each side of Chart
Main body of Chart is stockinette K 1 row, P 1row
(Chart can be worked with intarsia or fair-isle)
After chart
Change color One strand Cream one Brown
Continue 3 stitch seed stitch edges with stockinette center
Work for as long as you like for your scarf
(sample has 49 inches of brown/cream tweed)
Change back to 2 strands of Cream and either work chart again
Or continue with solid cream for 60 rows and three rows of seed stitch.
